VSA stands for the Vietnamese Students Association at the University of Western Ontario, UWO, Canada.
We are a group of students who share the same background, have the same love towards the novel of Vietnamese culture, and we together shape the future.
Our members are from so many different places in Vietnam. From the North, Ha Noi, to Hai Phong, following the curve S, along the Delta Red River, to the Centre, the ancient capital, Hue, heading South through Nha Trang, and go further to the West Coast, Can Tho, our members enrich the diversity and integrity with different experiences from different regions in Vietnam.
Although some members are new to the Canadian culture, some are more adapted, and some were born and raised up on this fatherland, but we all have the same love towards our motherland, Vietnam. We together study, participate in activities oriented with Vietnamese culture. We have had activities as joyful as the annual semi-formal, we have shared the memorable night as the Halloween Dance, and much more
Today, VSA has extended larger and are more altering. The club has introduced the Vietnamese culture to other friends. We enjoy the transition and the cultural exchange, Vietnamese and Canadian. Our members are Canadians, French, Vietnamese, and other different nationalities. We are delighted in being friends among other friends in such a multicultural and diverse city in the world. We have done, are doing, and will show other fellows the beauty of our mother culture, Vietnamese.
